Illinois State University Education major Natalie Ellars will be here Tuesday, March 11th during 3rd hour to talk about her education experience at Illinois State. If you are interested in going into education as a major, please sign up in the guidance office to attend the presentation.

Parkland College will be visiting Unity High School on Friday, March 14th at 10am. If you are a junior or senior interested in learning more about Parkland College, please sign up in the guidance office.

Keep dropping off those can tabs when you are done with your drinks! There is a container outside Mrs. Krukewitt’s room or in the office.

Congratulations to the Unity Science Olympiad team for their awesome performance at Regionals on Saturday. Unity had 9 teams place at regionals and will advance to the state tournament. Kallie Lancaster and Alex wells placed 6th in Anatomy and Physiology, Maddie Darnall and Catie Ford took 4th in Astronomy, Callie Ellars and Lucas Hood placed 4th in Chem Lab, Olivia Egelston and Callie Ellars placed 6th in Disease Detectives, Alex Wells, Lucas Hood and Isaac Neverman took 6th in Electric Vehicle, Sam Gumbel and Claire Zorns placed 5th in Fossils, Callie Ellars and Ashley Rennels took 5th in Bungee drop, Maddie Darnall and Ahley Rennel placed 5th in Write it Do It, and finally Jaxon Jett, Lucas Hood and Isaac Neverman placed 6th in Material Science. Go Rocket Scientists!

Congratulations to Grace Wherley for placing 2nd in the state at the FFA Ag Education contest.
