Activity Period: Thursday- FCA & Student Council
Seniors, just a reminder that the priority deadline for the U of I and Illinois State University is tomorrow. Don't wait until the last minute to apply. See the guidance office with any questions.
The school is planning to host the ASVAB test for interested Juniors and Seniors this fall. The ASVAB is a test the military uses to determine what branch and military jobs potential recruits are best suited for. The ASVAB is also useful for students who aren't interested in the military because the results can help students identify civilian career options as well. The test is free, and it will be hosted at school during the school hours. If you would like to take the ASVAB at Unity, please e-mail Mr. Peterson or come to the guidance office to let one of the counselors know.
During lunch hours, you can buy a bag of yummy candy for just 50 cents! All proceeds go toward the Thanksgiving Food Drive. So help yourself to treats while helping out others!
Juniors: if you are interested in helping with Prom, please join us for a meeting Friday at 8 AM in Mrs. Bonnell's room. Remember, you can't complain if you don't contribute.
Unity High School will be hosting a Financial Aid Information Night for Seniors and their parents/guardians on Monday, November 6th at 6pm in the auditorium. A representative will be here to discuss the updated FAFSA application and the different types of free aid and loans available to help students pay for college. Please see Mrs. Decker with any questions.
Unity Vocal Rush presents their fall showcase this Friday November 3rd at 7 pm in the Polly Anderson Auditorium. Students are $5. There will be performances by Vocal Rush, Surreal Sound, many different soloists, and a giant basket raffle. Please come out and support your fellow classmates at the Fall Showcase.
Students, please make sure you are taking your Chromebooks inside at night. The cold weather is NOT good for them.
