Congrats to the Rocket Baseball program on another big day on the ball yard.  Both the JV and Varsity recorded big wins yesterday.  The Rocket JV team went on the road to St. Thomas More and came home with a 16-3 victory.  Brayden Henry picked up the mound win for the Rockets.  Tyler Henry lead the offensive attack with two hits and 3 RBIs. The Rocket Varsity won their sixth straight game to remain undefeated with a 17-2 thrashing of Okaw Valley.  Easton Cunningham toed the rubber, getting the win on the mound.  Cunningham struck out four Timberwolves in two innings of work.  Sophomore Brady Parr came in and finished off the Wolves with two scoreless innings. Offensively the Rockets brought out the big bats, with eight extra base hits on the day.  Cunningham helped himself with a long ball which was followed up by two run tater off the bat of Austin Langendorf. Gavin Moore, Dylan Moore, Aiden Porter, Tre Hoggard, and Zach Lorbiecki all chipped in with doubles to help spearhead the attack.  The Rockets will welcome the Pontiac Indians to Rocket field on Thursday for a key Illini Prairie Conference battle.  Game time is 4:30 pm.  Bleacher seats and some standing room only tickets still remain.
