For those seniors attending Parkland College next year, their scholarship portal is now open and applications are due March 31st.   Please see Mrs. Decker or Mr. Peterson with any questions.

The Summer Construction Program application is now available and is a free program for any sophomore or junior interested in the building trades. The program will be held at Parkland College from 8am-2pm Monday-Friday June 12th- June 30th.  Students will receive a $400 stipend at the completion of the class.  Please stop by guidance for an application.  The deadline to apply is Friday, April 7th.

After an 18-8 victory over Villa- Grove, the rockets softball team improve to 5-1. The rockets were led by junior, Ruby Tarr with 4 hits and 4 RBI. Senior, Ashlyn Miller earned the win on the mound, with sophomore Lindy Bates coming in to secure the victory. Also being key contributors were Junior Reagan Little with 4 hits, 2 RBI, senior Reece Sarver with 2 hits, 3 RBI. Sophomores Jenna Adkins, Sophia Beckett, Maegan Rothe, Chloey Duitsman and Bates, all added to our offensive threat in positive ways. Rockets will be back in action tomorrow vs. Westville. Come out to support this squad. They are fun to watch. 

Congrats to the Rocket Baseball program for knocking off the previously unbeaten Westville Tigers last night at Westville! Senior Easton Cunningham got the win on the mound with three innings of work while only surrendering one Westville run.  Hitting stars for the Rockets included Austin Langendorf, Nolan Remole, Aiden Porter and Brock Suding.  Each contributed two hits on the day to lead the Rocket offensive attack.  As a team, the Rockets banged out 11 team hits leading to 15 runs scored on the day.  The defending Illini Prairie Conference Champs will be back in action Thursday versus Tri-Valley.  Come enjoy America’s National Past time as the Rockets battle the Vikings at Rocket field, with the first pitch at 4:30.
